Partnership

A partner, not just a platform.

Getting a computer science program off the ground, and keeping it going, takes more than curriculum. CodeHS works alongside your district from day one: scoping the implementation, onboarding teachers, and staying on call through every semester after. When something breaks or a question comes up, you get a person who knows your program, not a ticket queue.

  • A dedicated team for implementation, launch, and beyond

  • Fast, human answers for teachers and administrators

  • Help working through the real challenges of a growing CS program

  • In-person visits to your schools and classrooms

My concern was handled quickly and professionally. They understood my question, offered a short term fix, and offered to forward it to the curriculum team to make a change for next year. They asked if I had more questions or concerns. Basically everything I could want in an interaction. Thanks!

Implementation

District-scale implementation, handled.

The technical lift of a district rollout is where programs stall. CodeHS takes it on as your partner: rostering thousands of students, wiring up your LMS, migrating from platforms you are leaving, and clearing your privacy and security review.

  • Rostering and SSO. Clever, ClassLink, Kimono, OneRoster, and Google Classroom, set up and verified with your team before launch.

  • LMS migrations and transitions. Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, and any LTI platform, plus help moving off the tools you are leaving behind.

  • Privacy, security, and compliance. SOC 2 Type 2 certified, with hands-on help for district privacy agreements and security reviews.

  • District-wide rollout support. Implementation planning across schools, so the program launches together instead of one classroom at a time.

FAQ

CodeHS Support FAQ

How do I get help from CodeHS?

Teachers and administrators can search the CodeHS knowledge base, ask the built-in Ask AI chatbot, or reach the support team directly by emailing support@codehs.com or through in-app chat. Real people answer, and for harder problems they will get on a call to debug with you.

Does CodeHS help with implementation and rostering?

Yes. CodeHS works with districts on rostering through Clever, ClassLink, Kimono, OneRoster, and Google Classroom, and integrates with Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, and other LMS platforms over LTI. The team helps scope, set up, and verify rostering and single sign-on before launch.

Can CodeHS help us migrate from another platform?

Yes. The CodeHS team regularly helps districts transition from other platforms and LMS setups, including re-rostering students, mapping courses, and onboarding teachers so the switch does not stall your program mid-year.

How does CodeHS handle privacy, security, and compliance?

CodeHS is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and works directly with districts on privacy agreements and compliance requirements. Details live in the CodeHS Privacy Center and Security page, and the team handles district-specific data requests as part of onboarding.

Does CodeHS really visit schools in person?

Yes. Every CSEdWeek the CodeHS team visits schools across the country (over 190 schools in 2025), and the CodeHS Road Trip brought the team to more than 150 schools nationwide. Teachers can request a visit through the CSEdWeek visit request form.

What support do districts get beyond the help center?

District partners get a dedicated team for implementation planning, onboarding, rostering and integration work, and ongoing support through the school year. Teachers keep the same fast help channels, and administrators get a direct line for program-level questions.
