CodeHS middle school pathways are three-year sequences running 6th through 8th grade. Current options include Computer Science Explorations, which covers programming with Karel and Tracy, web design, game design, and how the internet works; a Python pathway built on Tracy the Turtle; and a Digital Citizenship pathway, plus state-aligned versions and more in the course catalog.

Computer Science Explorations is the broad survey, covering programming, web design, game design, and digital citizenship across three years. The Python pathway goes deeper on text-based coding for schools that want students writing Python by 8th grade.
