Students explore the CodeHop Playground and practice building simple sequences of instructions through fun, hands-on introductory activities.
Students learn the basics of how computers work and build essential mouse and keyboard skills through interactive practice.
Students build algorithmic thinking skills by creating step-by-step sequences and exploring how events trigger actions, away from the screen.
Students explore the CodeHop interface and use characters, backgrounds, and motion blocks to bring a story to life.
Students strengthen computational thinking and build interactive programs using events, sequencing, and additional blocks like show/hide and grow/shrink.
Students learn to build multi-page programs and navigate between pages using the "go to page" block.
Students deepen their coding skills using sound, speed, and say blocks, and apply what they've learned to build more complex, multi-part projects.
Students learn to use loops to repeat actions and explain how looping simplifies repetitive coding tasks.
Students apply their coding skills to build creative, interactive final projects using events, sequences, and loops.
Students build foundational digital literacy skills, including online safety, data storage, research skills, and the impacts of technology.
